"I have a curse
I have a gift

I am a monster
I'm more than human

My touch is lethal
My touch is power

I am their weapon
I will fight back

Juliette hasn’t touched anyone in exactly 264 days.

The last time she did, it was an accident, but The Reestablishment locked her up for murder. No one knows why Juliette’s touch is fatal. As long as she doesn’t hurt anyone else, no one really cares. The world is too busy crumbling to pieces to pay attention to a 17-year-old girl. Diseases are destroying the population, food is hard to find, birds don’t fly anymore, and the clouds are the wrong color.

The Reestablishment said their way was the only way to fix things, so they threw Juliette in a cell. Now so many people are dead that the survivors are whispering war – and The Reestablishment has changed its mind. Maybe Juliette is more than a tortured soul stuffed into a poisonous body. Maybe she’s exactly what they need right now.

Juliette has to make a choice: Be a weapon. Or be a warrior."

Review:

When I first heard of Shatter Me, I knew instantly that I would love this series. A fast-paced dystopian with a badass female protagonist who also happens to possess lethal powers that enable her to try and stop the actions of a corrupt government... I was hooked!
I dig this book because I really loved reading it and seeing the change in the heroine, Juliette Ferrars. How she changed from being insecure and fearful into some kickass Girl.
I was also captivated of the Relationship between Warner and Juliette. At first Warner is shown as cold and manipulative but as the Story progresses everyone senses his soft spot for Juliette, and she is fascinated by Warner, because he is a mystery to her, although he keeps her captive. He is shown as the bad guy and is unpredictable but he also has his moments where he lets his real character shine through.
Adam knows Juliette since they were children, he is also the one that rescues her from Warner.
Although Adam is the Hero at some point and his character has an important role, his Actions are kind of superficial. I had the feeling that his character is not as important as Warner and Juliette´s.

All in all its beautifully written and i would recommand it. Ive read it six times since and now its one of my favorites.
